Federal safety investigators report that a defect in the
carburetor can prevent the throttle from freely returning
to the idle position. That can result in an unexpected
loss of control, leading to a collision, an accident, or
injury.
The $9,500 units were sold nationwide during November
2007 and reports of stuck throttles have come out. Consumers
are being warned to stop using the vehicles immediately
until repairs have been made.
