Federal safety investigators say that water can enter
the throttel position sensor and freeze up, causing permanent
damage if the rider forces the throttle lever and that
can cause the throttle to stick open. That can mean loss
of control and an accident that can injure the driver or
rider.

Safety officials say consumers should stop using the recalled
Atvs immediately because they are dangerous. The adult
size all terrain vehicles are designed for use by riders
16 years old and older and were made in red, black, blue,
olive and camouflage colors with the Honda name printed
on the fuel tank. The model name is printed on the side
panel just below the seat. The affected recalled ATVs were
generally sold nationwide from June 2006 to December 2007
for around $7,000.
If you’ve got a dangerous lemon Atv or snowmobile,
don’t go it alone! In Ohio, as in some other states,
an Atv is covered by the state Lemon Law. So don’t
put up with a dangerous Atv or the runaround from your dealer
or the factory.
