Mercedes Benz is recalling 9,000 of the Mercedes-Benz
diesel engine cars of the 2007 model year because a sensor
can cause the cars to lose power.

Federal safety investigators report that in some of the
2007 cars the wiring from the crankshaft sensor frame can
separate and cut the electrical connection to the sensor.
If that happens, the car reportedly cannot be restarted
after failure of the connection. That, folks, can mean
a crash.
