Cadillac Recalls SRX and STS
Sedans
General
Motors is recalling over 23,000 2005 Cadillac vehicles because
the rear suspension can fail.
Do you (or did you) own any of these potential Cadillac
lemon cars or trucks?
- 2005 Cadillac SRX
- 2005 Cadillac STS
According to federal safety officials, the left or right “toe
link” on the vehicle can separate because of an incorrect
weld. Separation of the link could cause a rear wheel to “turn
out,” affecting vehicle control and possibly causing
a crash.
If you own any of these potential lemon Cadillac cars or
trucks, you may be entitled to your money back or a new vehicle.

While this is the first recall reported for the 2005 SRX,
thousands of 2005 STS vehicles were already recalled because
of faulty electronic control modules (computer parts) that
could cause the engine to suddenly stop getting gas while
driving down the road, without any warning. When the engine
doesn’t get gas, it obviously quits running ... not
a good thing to happen on the highway at 65 mph!
