On some 2008 Avenger vehicles, the front seat track position
sensors used for the car’s air bag system may not work
right. Dodge has told federal safety investigators that if
it happens in an accident, the front seat riders “may
have a higher risk of injury.”
That’s “lawyer talk” for simply saying
you might be seriously injured or killed because the air
bag system is messed up!

This recalls follows another dangerous Avenger recall just
a few months ago. In that recall, Dodge admitted that a door
system defect caused some car doors not to stay closed. Do

Just over 11,000 of the suspected lemons were built between
August 2006 and February 2007 and Dodge told federal safety
